A Family Story of Innovation
Millésima’s journey began with visionary founder Patrick Bernard, whose expertise in cognac and Bordeaux grands crus led to the company’s creation. His children, Fabrice and Hortense Bernard, have since taken the reins, blending tradition with innovation and expanding the company’s digital presence.

Millésima was born from a passion, but it also stems from a strong creative vision. Constantly exploring new wine territories, the company has evolved over time: beginning as a Bordeaux wine merchant, expanding into curated selections, and boldly embracing the digital world in 1997. This spirit of reinvention is embodied by Fabrice Bernard, the founder’s son, who joined the marketing team in 2007. With a deep love for wine and a flair for both marketing and digital innovation, he pioneered a "test and learn" approach that positioned him as a digital trailblazer in the wine industry. Since 2016, he has led the company, continuing the legacy of innovation started by his father.
His sister, Hortense Bernard, became part of the journey in 2010. Immersed in the family values from a young age, she honed her expertise in the United States at Millésima US. Through her forward-thinking mindset, she helped raise brand awareness across the American market and shared the family’s Bordeaux wine heritage abroad. Since returning to France in 2021, she has worked hand in hand with her brother to lead Millésima’s commercial and marketing development.
