Taylor’s 1976 Single Harvest: An Exceptional, Rare Vintage Port
Crafted from Taylor’s renowned Douro estates, this 1976 Single Harvest is a rare Port, aged over 50 years in seasoned oak casks. A product of an historically dry vintage, it reveals a unique and refined aromatic complexity.
Color: Lustrous copper, fading to soft amber at the rim.
Nose: Enticing aromas of gingerbread, honeysuckle, Seville orange, marzipan, and decadent caramel.
Palate: Smooth and seductive, with notes of rum and raisin, citrus, guava, grilled pineapple, butterscotch, and honey. The finish is precise, elegant, and long, with lively acidity.
Serve slightly chilled (12-16°C), perfect on its own or paired with desserts featuring figs, almonds, caramel, crème brûlée, or wild strawberries. Maintains freshness for up to two months after opening.
