Taylor’s Very Very Old Port: The Pinnacle of Barrel Aging
Crafted from an exceptionally rare blend of Ports, some aged in oak since before World War II, Taylor’s Very Very Old Port is a true masterpiece. Presented in a bespoke decanter and luxury wooden case, it embodies over three centuries of expertise from the prestigious Taylor’s house.
Color: Deep chestnut brown with amber hues and a pale straw rim.
Nose: Remarkably complex bouquet of butterscotch, dried figs, fresh coffee, marzipan, Smyrna raisins, orange zest, apricot, vanilla, and cedar.
Palate: Delicate entry, perfect balance of freshness and sweetness, with a long and silky finish.
Enjoy slightly chilled, on its own, or paired with figs, almonds, caramel, or crème brûlée. An exceptional Port, a living tribute to the Douro’s winemaking heritage.
